BISS CH. Highmark's Cowboy Coffee OS, SDHF

(Amberac Letz Make A Deal, OS x Highmark Halley’s Comet, OD)

Highmark is VERY PROUD of the "Old Man"!

CH. Highmark Cowboy Coffee OS, SDHF continues to show the young-un's how it should be done....

"Starbuck" is shown here winning the Stud Dog Class at the Golden Retriever Club of America 2002 National Specialty under breeder/judge Mrs. Connie Gerstner Miller of Malagold Kennels. This win is a real honor and tribute to Starbuck and to Linda, as well!

Starbuck had a VERY busy fall 2003 show season!!

The "Big Boy" at Highmark, "Starbuck", shows the youngsters that the old guys are NEVER out of the competition! This picture shows Buck having earned the Best Veteran Rosette from the Garden State Golden Retriever Club Specialty held in October, 2003, under judge Dr. Donald Sturz, Jr. Thank you to Dr. Sturz for taking notice of our wonderful guy!.

But - Buck does it one better...

Starbuck takes back-to-back BEST OF BREED wins at the Central Oklahoma Golden Retriever Club Specialties on November 15the and 16th, 2003!! Thank you to Mrs. Michelle Stansbury and to Mrs. Sandra J.B. Dunn for such honors!

At the Golden Rettriever Club of America 2005 National Specialty in Gettysburg, PA....

At 10 years of age and still going strong, Starbuck shows off in the Veteran Sweepstakes competition on September 27, 2005, by taking a Second Place ribbon in wonderfully competitive class of 12 dogs - all veterans at 10 -12 years of age.

But he does not stop there - Starbuck goes on to win the Veterans 10-12 Years (Regular Class), taking the Best of Opposite Sex Veteran rosette as well. Starbuck finally competes in the Best of Breed class, earning a Judges Award of Merit (JAM)!!

Continuing the winning spree, Starbuck heads west to the Central Oklahoma Golden Retreiver Specialty held Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 19 and 20). On Saturday, Starbuck takes the first place ribbon in the Sweepstakes class - Veteran Dog 10-12 Years - and wins the Best in Veterans Sweepstakes rosette! He continues on with the afternoon competition, winning the Veterans 10-12 Years (Regular Class) and earning a Judges Award of Merit in the Best of Breed competition that day!

Evidently - Saturday was just a warm up for Starbuck, as on Sunday, Starbuck wins Best of Breed from the Veterans 10-12 Years class with Linda floating on air at the other end of the lead.

And Starbuck does it again...

At the Golden Retriever Club of America 2006 National Specialty in Kansas City, Starbuck does it again - winning under judge Marjorie Moore, and earning the Best in Veterans Sweepstakes rosette (pictured above). He knows how to make his mom proud!

We are all so very proud of Starbuck, who every so often reminds us that that these great dogs continue to get better with age!

Thank you, Starbuck!
