A "Rotten" Win at Westminster!!

One of the big highlights of the season is attending the Westminster Kennel Club dog show each February. And the true highlight is to Win Best of Breed at Westminster.

On February 13, 2007, the beautiful dog with the "Rotten" name earned the coveted honor of Best of Breed at Westminster. We at Highmark cannot be more proud than to be the co-breeder of the Best of Breed winner this time around, and then to have an Award of Merit honor bestowed on our own boy, Coach, was icing on the cake!

With Best in Show and Specialty Best of Breed wins already, this member of the Golden Retriever Show Dog Hall of Fame continues to make his mark in the show ring.

Watch out for this very special boy!

A real Highmark highlight is "Yogi" - BIS BISS Am. Can. CH. Highmark Mirasol Once A Knight, UDT, JH, WC, VCX, SDHF - owned and loved by Alison and Ray Desmarais.

Yogi continues his winning ways, having achieved the distinct honor of earning the Best of Breed rosette at the Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty in two consecutive years - 2001 and 2002.

Yogi has also been the recipient of an Judges Award of Merit at the 2002 Westminster Kennel Club.

Yogi was also the winner of the 2002 GRCA "Top Twenty" competition and was ranked the number one Golden Retriever for 2002!

What an achievement for young Yogi, Alison and Ray! We can only imagine what the future holds for this accomplished dog...

Shown by Malagold Kennels, "Cricket" completed her championship title in swift time and has had a remarkable Specials career thus far, with multiple Golden Retriever Specialty Best of Breeds to her credit.

Highmark Congratulates CHAMPION "Demi"!

Happy Hour Malagold Strip Tease got the job done at the Ft. Detroit Golden Retriever Specialty on September 16th, 2005 - earning the ribbons for Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for the four-point major win that put the CH in front of her name! Thank you to Mr. Erik Bergishagen for recognizing this very special girl.

We at Highmark are so proud of Demi, who has worked her magic across the mid-west, finishing her Championship with three major wins! Owned and handled by Connie Gerstner Miller and Geri Gerstner Hart, Demi has also earned multiple Best of Breed wins along the way. Congratulations to Connie, Geri and Demi.

Watch out for Demi - she is not just a tease - she is the REAL DEAL!!
